This is a photo of an “igloo” I built in 1995 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Actually, it was really just a pile of snow that I hollowed out and made into the shape of an igloo. It was actually pretty warm inside!

This was a pretty challenging snow structure to build! Since we didn’t have a big pile of snow, we had to make one. Here are the steps:
Gather snow and load it into a form made out of plywood, or any other large flat objects like folding tables etc.
